Sravan is a captain in the Indian Navy who fights in Sri Lanka against Tamil guerrillas, carrying out a sequence of bold operations under the banner of the Indian Peace-Keeping Force (IPKF). He emerges from the conflict having killed hundreds of guerrillas, a testament to his military prowess and mercurial temperament. After the hostilities, he chooses to make Sri Lanka his home, pursuing a life that blends luxury with danger. He is described as a womanizer who moves through a world of wealth, owning several palatial houses and living with a swagger that masks deep-seated emotional wounds.
