He goes to Dubai to become rich, gets a job, loses it in a global recession and returns home, unwilling to stay without wealth.

Jayaraman, popularly known as Kunjaliyan (young brother-in-law), is introduced as the pampered youngest member of three sisters in Gopalapuram, a village perched on the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. He was the beloved little one in the family, the pet of his sisters, and he showed little interest in getting a regular job. Life in the household worked smoothly for a while, with the sisters sheltering him from responsibility and the world outside.
