Jenny, a student studying abroad in London, lives a quiet, happy campus life until a sudden moment pulls her into a dangerous underworld. She inadvertently photographs Jeffrey, a ruthless Yakuza hitman, while he kills an elderly man, and that single image sets off a chain of events she never could have anticipated.

Soon after, the Chinatown triad elder Martin is killed by Jeffrey, and the police grow convinced that Jenny knows more than she should. They bring her in for questioning, pulling her deeper into a web of suspicion. Charlie, Martin’s assistant, wastes no time sending his henchmen to shadow Jenny in hopes of locating Jeffrey, while the danger around her grows more intrusive and personal.

Jeffrey breaks into Jenny’s home, aiming to silence her once and for all. Yet what begins as a threatening intrusion gradually becomes a complex pull between fear and fascination, and he hints at a future meeting with her. To help Jenny, her good friend Amy pretends to be her ally, diverting surveillance by Charlie and the police so Jenny can slip away to meet Jeffrey.

When they finally meet again, Jeffrey opens up about his life and his choice to walk away from the Yakuza. He explains that his killings were never random acts of violence but acts of vengeance, committed to avenge his adopted father—the Yakuza leader who took him in as an orphan. This revelation reshapes Jenny’s understanding of the man she’s become entangled with, painting his past in shades of duty, love, and regret.

Behind the scenes, the power struggle intensifies. Yakuza deputy chief Yoshikawa colludes with Charlie to eliminate Jeffrey, sending Jeffrey’s own assistant Eko to betray him and murder him. The plan spirals into tragedy as Jenny remains loyal to Jeffrey even as danger closes in around her.

The sentiment of loyalty collides with brutal fate when Jenny is drawn into a brutal, personal reckoning. She is attacked by her ambitious younger brother, who kills her, only to be met with a swift and merciless response from Jeffrey, who also takes down Charlie. In a final, devastating turn, Yoshikawa abducts Jenny, shoots and cripples her legs when confronted by Jeffrey, setting the stage for a climactic sword duel between Jeffrey and Yoshikawa that will seal the fate of everyone involved and decide the balance between mercy and vengeance.
