Year 1940. After Khun Pan, Ananda Everingham defeats the notorious sorcerer thief Suea Krab Khamthong, he receives a mission from Luang Adul, Santi Lunphe the Royal Police Director-General, to investigate whispers about Al Hawi Yalu, described as a separatist sorcerer-thief who supposedly owns a legendary “tripartite” of rare, power-granting items. This assignment sets the stage for a tense clash between loyalty, superstition, and the murky politics of occupied borders.

Khun Pan infiltrates a rough coastal fishing village led by Khai Tho, Suttasit Pottasak, where he begins to move within the shadowy ivory club controlled by Luang Ohran, a corrupt civil servant who has been using Al Hawi Yalu for his own gain. The dynamic here reveals a web of complicity where police authority, guerrilla warfare, and criminal networks intersect in a volatile triangle.

Al Hawi Yalu, Krissada Sukosol Clapp, is portrayed as a fierce and complicated figure. He taps into guerrilla networks and exerts a magnetic yet dangerous pull over the region, prompting Khun Pan and the police to watch from the periphery as rumors of a “tripartite”—three powerful artifacts believed to endow magical powers—grow louder. There is also a sense that someone in the police force may be secretly compromised, hinting at deeper corruption and hidden loyalties.

Khun Pan travels to meet Al Hawi Yalu’s father, an encounter that uncovers a history of affection and admiration that once existed between the boy and his father, even as the present-day conflict drags both men toward a tragic fracture. The older man is touched by the memory of his son’s early reverence, yet the ensuing turmoil between the father and the police casts a long shadow over their relationship. This personal history adds emotional weight to the dangerous political game in which both men are entangled.

As the narrative intensifies, Al Hawi Yalu forms guerrilla forces to control the rugged, snow-dusted expanse of the Budo Mountains. The struggle expands beyond a simple pursuit of relics and power; it becomes a test of nerve, strategy, and the capacity for mercy in a landscape where mistrust and violence are the default language.

In a pivotal confrontation, Khun Pan encounters Malai, Khai Tho’s sister, Karnpitchar Ketmanee, and is drawn deeper into the fray just as Al Hawi Yalu’s guerrillas close in. The clash reaches a brutal moment when Khun Pan is shot, yet he manages to endure and slip away, leaving questions about survival, vengeance, and the true cost of peace hanging in the air.

The film weaves together themes of duty, memory, and the cost of policing in a time of upheaval, painting a landscape where ancient magic, modern law, and political ambition collide.
