Khoon Ka Karz 1991

Arrested for a wide variety of infringements of the Indian Penal Code, Karan, Kishan and Arjun recount to the court how two of them were adopted and nursed by a saintly woman, Savitri Devi; how they fell in love with Tara Lele, Sheetal and Sagarika respectively; how they took to crime; and how they ended up being arrested by the police and in their present predicament.

Beyond the courtroom tale, the film traces Savitri Devi’s journey. After Savitri Devi’s baby was stolen by her criminal husband, she begins raising orphaned children in an ashram, teaching them truth and honesty. But not all of her children choose that path as adults; Arjun and Kishan struggle with a future shaped by poverty and a society that denies them a fair chance, drifting toward crime and getting entangled with Champaklal, whose son Robin dreams of building a vast underworld empire in India.

But Karan offers a lifeline. The elder foster son of Savitri begs to steer them away from that path, to protect Arjun and Kishan from the pull of crime and from Champaklal and his hired goons, along with his son Robin.

For this mission, Karan enlists help from his love, Tara Lele — a tough taxi driver — and from Kishan’s and Arjun’s girlfriends, Sheetal and Sagarika. Together, they craft a plan that hinges on trust, courage, and the hope of redeeming a future that society has too often denied them.

When Kishan and Arjun uncover some unexpected truths, their initial wariness toward Karan eases, and the three heroes unite to fight for the greater good against Champaklal and his son Robin, who is revealed to be Savitri Devi’s real son. In the end, the tale weaves together loyalty, love, and ashared resolve to choose honesty over crime, even as the shadows of their past continue to loom.
