Bhoominathan Bhoominathan idolises Muthuramalingam, a wealthy, powerful landlord who holds Semmanur in a firm grip. At the invitation of his parents, Bhoomi steps into a protector’s role and becomes Muthuramalingam’s bodyguard. The landowner’s rival, Ammavasai, presses for conflict after Muthuramalingam’s daughter died following an ill-fated proposal, and the shadow of that tragedy looms large over every decision. While Bhoomi stands by Muthuramalingam to shield him, the threat to his family intensifies when his daughter Meera Muthuramalingam becomes a focal point in the feud. To protect Meera and her friend group from the mounting danger, Bhoomi is sent to college along with Meera and Madhu, Madhu, who integrates into the same class.
