Sameera “Sam” Khanna works at a glossy magazine, living in a world where deadlines and deadlines collide, and she often finds herself navigating a fraught, unreliable romance with her actor boyfriend, Om Kapoor. On the eve of her birthday, Om is conspicuously absent, leaving Sam feeling unmoored and underappreciated. Into this moment of vulnerability steps Vivek Tiwari, a bright but sheltered 19-year-old hacker who harbors a quiet crush on her. The stakes rise to a shocking apex when Vivek’s grandmother threatens to expose his lies, and in a brutal moment he kills her.
