Judging Jewell 2014

On July 27, 1996, a bomb exploded at Centennial Olympic Park during the Atlanta Summer Games, tragically killing two people and injuring many more. Security guard Richard Jewell discovered a suspicious package and helped evacuate the area, potentially saving countless lives. However, within hours, he became the target of intense media scrutiny and investigations, facing false accusations and public condemnation. The film explores the events surrounding this incident and the impact on a man whose heroism was quickly overshadowed by suspicion. Ultimately, Eric Robert Rudolph was identified and convicted for the bombing.
