Surya Jeet is a determined sportsman in Kolkata who loves to run and chase championships, but his short temper often draws stern looks from his father. On a championship tour that takes him to Siliguri, he encounters Indrajit Subrat Dutta, a powerful gang leader who forcibly aims to make Sumi Varsha Priyadarshini his wife. After a tense clash and a series of struggles, Surya manages to slip away from Siliguri with Sumi and bring her back toward home.

Back in Kolkata, Surya hides Sumi from his family and tries to arrange a safe departure for her to the United States where her relatives reside. Indrajit and his goons descend on the city, wielding political clout and social influence to pressure local authorities into taking action against Surya. The situation culminates when the police lock Surya up, but a trusted ally emerges: the police officer who is an old friend of Surya’s father, Dipankar Dey. Through a blend of personal connection and understanding, the officer helps secure Surya’s release, underscoring the ties that bind the community to its people.

When Surya heads out to reclaim Sumi, Indrajit’s men respond by kidnapping Surya’s sister, raising the stakes for everyone involved.
