For over thirty years, a bitter conflict between guerrillas and the Turkish army has devastated the Kurdish regions. Seventeen-year-old Jîn lives in this dangerous but stunning mountainous country, but she is now alone, having secretly left a rebel group. She wanders the landscape, caught between warring factions, facing constant threats of gunfire and explosions. Desperate for peace, she attempts to escape to another part of the country, a difficult journey complicated by military presence and roadblocks. As a Kurdish woman without identification, she risks arrest and faces numerous dangers.
