Sunny Arya Babbar is a jobless young man living in a Punjab village who dreams of emigrating to Canada. He spends day after day visiting travel agencies for visa help, but reality gnaws at him: he’s not educated, he doesn’t speak English, and he lacks the money to support a move abroad. At one point, he steps into Raavi Sameksha Oswal’s travel agency to seek assistance with a Canadian visa, only to be rejected when it’s clear he’s not qualified. Yet a later encounter with Raavi changes things, and she gradually develops feelings for him.

Jugnu [Gurpreet Ghuggi], the owner of a newer travel agency in town, struggles to get even a single visa for his clients and battles to keep the lights on as rent looms. He owes 20,000 Rs to his landlord, who warns that electricity could be cut within ten days if payment isn’t made. Sunny visits Jugnu’s agency hoping for a Vancouver visa. Jugnu agrees to help but demands a staggering 2 million Rs as a handling fee. Sunny can’t personally pay that much, but he believes his family can pool the money.

Delighted by the prospect, Sunny rushes to share the news with his family and asks for 2 million Rs. They’re initially hesitant, but the idea of success in Canada sways them. They mortgage their land to a local drug smuggler named Titoo [Binnu Dhillon], and borrow the 2 million Rs from him to hand over to Sunny. Meanwhile, Titoo discovers he needs a heart transplant, which adds a new twist of danger to the scheme.

Khushi becomes Jugnu’s girlfriend, and her father has just arranged for her engagement to Titoo. Enraged, Jugnu goes to Khushi’s father to argue that Khushi should marry him instead of Titoo. The father agrees on one condition: Jugnu must have 2 million Rs in savings. Jugnu promises to show the money in a few days, confident that he can secure Sunny’s visa.

Sunny pays the 2 million Rs to Jugnu as a visa handling fee, and Jugnu presents the sum to Khushi’s father, who then gives his blessing for the marriage. Jugnu’s plan for a visa hinges on Sunny pretending to be a drummer accompanying a singer to Canada to perform in a play. But the supposed singer turns out to be a scammer: the scammer grabs Jugnu’s 2 million Rs and delivers a fake visa.

Khushi’s father then reneges on the promise by steering Khushi toward marrying Titoo. Khushi elopes with Jugnu, who is supposed to hand Sunny his passport, the fake visa, and a plane ticket at the airport. But Jugnu disappears, switching off his phone, leaving Sunny stranded at the airport and unable to board.

Despairing, Sunny contemplates suicide to repay the debt, only to be saved by Raavi, who reveals that she loves him. She is Titoo’s sister and suggests that Sunny report Titoo to the police to earn a reward, but Sunny bungles the plan and is captured by Titoo.

Titoo now wants to kill Sunny to transplant his heart. Raavi steps in to save Sunny and informs his family about the danger. A confrontation erupts between Sunny’s family and Titoo’s men, culminating in Sunny overcoming Titoo’s henchmen. Raavi then persuades everyone to abandon their illegal business.
