Jeeva, Sharan must set the record straight about his late best friend Raghu in a village where memories and misunderstandings have long shaped how people see him. After Raghu’s death, he travels to Raghu’s homeland and encounters a power struggle staged by two village heads who are sworn enemies. Upon arrival, Jeeva discovers Raghu’s sister and her boyfriend are targets of the head’s wrath simply because they come from a different village. To shield them, he crafts a bold move—getting involved in a way that creates distance between the couple in the eyes of the head, while also presenting himself as Jeeva, Raghu’s trusted ally and a devoted admirer of Raghu’s memory. He even goes so far as to tell Raghu’s mother and Raghu’s two sisters that he is Raghu himself, sowing a web of deception meant to protect the vulnerable.

The story then shifts to another village, where Jeeva enters under the guise of a director. In this new setting, he meets Geetha, the head’s daughter, and their bond grows as Geetha comes to see the good character behind Jeeva’s ruse. Geetha, Sruthi Hariharan, gradually falls for him, and her affection deepens once she recognizes his genuine nature. But a fresh complication arrives when Smita, the head’s sister, reveals that she loves Jeeva too. Smita, Shuba Poonja, adds a layer of tension to the already delicate situation, especially as Geetha’s father learns of Jeeva’s initial deception. The conflict escalates when Jeeva violently confronts Smita’s brother, yet he offers the wronged party a chance to reform and move forward.

As the plot unfolds, Raghu’s sister’s wedding marks a turning point that forces all the threads into closer contact. A pandit’s questions about Jeeva’s own marriage ignite a fresh rift, testing Jeeva’s resolve and his ability to harmonize duty, love, and loyalty. In the end, Jeeva’s journey comes full circle as he seeks guidance from the god Maruti, weighing his path and choosing a direction that honors Raghu, protects those he has come to care about, and ultimately decides what kind of life he will lead.
