Seventy years ago, within the eerie walls of the Dorothy Bungalow, a brutal act shattered the quiet of the estate. Dorothy, consumed by vengeance, murdered her husband, Fernandez, and his mistress, Grace. With cold precision, she placed their bodies into a blood-stained trunk, silenced the driver, and dumped both the trunk and the driver’s corpse into a deep, hidden well in the lower right chamber of the house. Then she vanished, leaving the mansion soaked in a chilling legacy that would haunt every corner for decades to come.

In the present, Thomas Kutty—a man who earned wealth in the comic caper 2 Harihar Nagar—buys the forsaken bungalow tucked away in the misty hills of Ooty, aiming to convert it into a luxurious resort. The town’s whispers, however, speak of a vengeful spirit—the mistress slain long ago—breathing through the walls. Dismissing such tales as superstition, Thomas Kutty hatches a plan to fool his closest friends, Mahadevan, Govindan Kutty, and Appukuttan, and even their wives, to show them that fear is all in the imagination. He reveals his deception—that the “ghosts” are hired add-ons—only to coax them into joining him at the mansion, while the others, notably Mahadevan, Govindan Kutty, and Appukuttan, refuse to be swayed by the ruse.

On the way, the group encounters Father Dominic, a cryptic figure who ominously warns that danger awaits if they persist. Undeterred, they press on, only to face an unsettling omen: the household staff suddenly abandons their posts, declaring that unseen forces walk the halls. It’s then revealed that Thomas Kutty never lived in the bungalow alone before buying it, a truth that chills the travelers and casts a pall of doubt over their plans.

Seeking guidance, the men turn to Father Dominic, who, to their surprise, is not a cleric but a paranormal researcher. As Mahadevan and Govindan Kutty prepare to depart, Dominic warns of a coming catastrophe tied to fire. His prophecy appears chillingly accurate when Thomas Kutty’s wife, Jessy, is nearly consumed by flames and is saved at the last moment by Dr. George Christopher. The group’s faith in Dominic’s admonitions wavers, yet they move forward, tempted by the prospect of solving the mystery.

Despite Dominic’s counsel to renounce liquor, meat, and revelry, the party’s indulgence triggers a terrifying sequence. The maidservant, Marathakam, becomes possessed, turning grotesque as Dominic attempts an exorcism that ends in his sudden heart attack. Believing salvation is out of reach, Thomas Kutty flees, selling the bungalow at a bargain price to Dorothy.

Yet a twist arrives as a phone call from Father Dominic reveals he staged his own death. He unravels a conspiracy: Dr. Christopher was his partner, and Marathakam was merely a pawn. The trio—Mahadevan, Appukuttan, and Govindan Kutty—had seen through the ruse. Govindan Kutty even bribes the registrar to secure the deal, exposing Dominic’s ruse as he tries to sway the sale in his favor. In the end, Thomas Kutty and his friends reclaim the bungalow and the money they paid, certain that justice is on their side.

They return to the Dorothy Bungalow, only to feel the old presence lingering as the gates slam shut behind them. The mansion’s haunting truth remains—an entity far more terrifying than any human fabrication, a legacy that refuses to be laid to rest.
