Raja is an introverted medical student who quietly carries a growing affection for Geetha, a classmate he hesitates to confess to. He nurtures this unspoken love while watching campus life unfold, letting moments slip by rather than voicing his true feelings. The tension between inner longing and outward restraint threads through his days as he wrestles with whether love might ever answer his quiet hopes.
His confusion deepens when he misreads Geetha’s reactions, assuming she loves someone else. Yet Geetha’s actions reveal a different truth: she is trying to help her sister and her sister’s lover find a path to a life together. The weight of the situation grows heavier when her father, Geetha’s father, refuses to bless the sister’s romance, and tragedy follows as the sister and her lover take their own lives.
Towards the end of their final year, Raja finds the courage to confess his love to Geetha, during a moment when she mourns her sister’s death. On the last day of college, the stakes rise as he learns Geetha is about to be engaged to someone else. The news hits hard, and the emotional strain triggers a mild heart stroke that lands him in the hospital as the campus holds its breath.
Geetha, meanwhile, begins to feel her own heart shifting. She travels to the hospital to tell Raja how she feels, only to discover that he has already left to catch a train back to his village. She races to the railway station in a bid to find him. Along the way, she runs into her father, who accepts her love, and then encounters Raja’s friend Chinni, who fills her in on Raja’s delicate heart condition and urges her not to hurry their reunion. He promises that once Raja recovers, they will be together.
The journey ends with Geetha watching the departing train, hopeful yet unsure about when their paths will cross again. The film leaves their love hanging in the balance, a quiet testament to patience, fate, and the slow pull of two hearts finding their rhythm amid life’s obstacles.
The film also features guest appearances that add color to the story, including Prabhu Deva in a lively dance moment and Silk Smitha in a cameo, giving fans little moments to savor beyond the central romance.
