In 1940, lesbian and Jewish artists Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore flee Paris for Jersey Island to escape Nazi persecution. As German troops invade the island, they bravely resist. Using an 8mm camera, they create a unique form of resistance, generating a legion of “nameless soldiers” that disrupt the Nazi regime. The film explores themes of love, artistic passion, and defiance, blending surrealist aesthetics with a punk-inspired visual style to reflect the protagonists' radical approach to challenging totalitarianism.
