What Is Hot Boyz About?
The premise of Hot Boyz without spoilers.
Kool, a struggling artist and karate black belt, is in love with college‑bound LaShawna. One night she watches a cop die in a stabbing, the dying officer clutching her, and is framed for murder by the LAPD’s Ramparts Division. Cynical detective Tully ignores LaShawna’s case but coerces Kool into breaking up an emerging crime operation, while the perpetrators fear the officer’s final confession. While awaiting a hearing, LaShawna is beaten to death by a rogue cop in jail. Enraged, Kool forms the revenge‑seeking crew known as the Hot Boyz.
