On a single night in Bangalore, Sameer [Asif Ali] and Tina [Miya George] elope and move into a flat owned by Achayan [Biju Menon]. Their quiet romance is abruptly disrupted when a man named Tony [Lal] arrives after an earlier encounter, and the flat becomes a tense space where his presence quickly shifts from uneasy companionship to a looming threat. Tony befriends them, but once they are alone, he starts pressing them with questions about his own life, turning the intimate shelter into a stage for interrogation and fear. The night unfolds with a slow burn of paranoia as the couple struggles to read Tony’s motives while managing their own vulnerability in the closed confines of their temporary home.
It’s soon revealed that Tony killed his wife and hid her body in a bag, and he has come to Sameer in search of his wife’s supposed extra-marital affair with the person she affectionately called “Sam” — a name that clearly maps to Sameer. A violent confrontation follows, and Sameer kills Tony in the heat of the moment. Achayan arrives to find the flat wrecked and Tony’s body, and he takes on the grim duty of burying what he believes to be the evidence. The immediate aftermath casts a shadow of doubt, as it’s later shown that the body buried wasn’t Tony’s after all, but Achayan’s own body, a twist that thickens the plot and blurs the line between killer and witness.
A flashback then pulls back the veil on Achayan’s perilous act: as he attempts to bury Tony’s body, Tony inexplicably rises and attacks, signaling that danger is far from over. The danger escalates further when a truck unexpectedly strikes Tony, killing him and seemingly sealing the fates of those entangled in this night. The story then pivots to Achayan’s house, where his wife Elizabeth Tony [Lenaa] stands near a wedding anniversary cake, and their children press for news about their father’s whereabouts. The camera pulls away from the scene and glides to the house’s name board, which reads “Samson James,” delivering the jaw-dropping reveal: Achayan, the flat’s owner and the man who stood as a protector, is in fact Samson James—the real target Tony had been pursuing and, in the end, the true culprit behind the night’s events.
