Adeline Gabler is a young farm girl whose brother, Theron Gabler, schemes to marry her off to the elderly, wealthy neighbor known as Old Scapin. When [Adeline Gabler] falls for a city boy, Frank Warren, Theron wastes no time in convincing his sister that her beloved has abandoned her.
