In 2008, in Mumbai, Ajith Kumar as AK, nicknamed “The Red Dragon”, surrenders to the authorities to reunite with his wife Trisha Krishnan Ramya, a pacifist, and their son Vihaan.

Eighteen years later, after his release from prison, AK plans to return to Spain to reconcile with his son and family. He aims to visit Vihaan, who lives with Ramya, the chief adviser of the Indian Embassy in Spain, Prabhu as Jayaprakash, her guardian, and Prasanna as Jaeger, her older brother. During their visit, AK faces a group of assassins hired by his enemies, and Ramya warns him to stay away from them. AK calls in his trusted circle, including Mastaan Bhai, and warns them to keep his family safe. Tensions rise, and AK makes it clear that anyone who threatens his loved ones will face severe consequences.

One day, Jaeger informs AK that Vihaan has been arrested. Jaeger says someone else is involved in the arrest, not the Mumbai gang. AK confronts the grim reality as he sees Vihaan in handcuffs, facing drug-use charges and juvenile detention. Ramya blames AK for inviting danger into their lives, suggesting it’s a revenge scheme orchestrated by his old enemies. AK vows to rescue Vihaan and uncover the real culprits.

AK, with his assistant Tyson and Jaeger, uncovers that the Dark Wolves gang, led by Babel, is framing Vihaan. The gang runs a casino and a secure bank vault, operated by Johnny and Zakaba. AK confronts Zakaba and threatens Johnny to leave Vihaan alone or watch the building go up in flames. During a video call, Johnny negotiates with AK to spare his casino, but AK demands that Johnny reveal his younger twin, Jammy, who frames Vihaan in retaliation for Ramya’s past imprisonment for crimes against women. Ramya had recorded Jammy’s confession and handed him over to the police. The twins’ identities stay hidden, but Jammy’s actions against Ramya and AK escalate the danger.

AK blows up the bank and takes Zakaba hostage, using the event to lure all the gangsters to a party. It’s a trap designed to bring in Johnny and Jammy, but the mob ends up killing Zakaba. As the investigation continues, the twins learn more about AK’s past from Bhai, discovering that he once fought alongside Korean gangsters like Dong Lee, spent time in New York with John Wick, and even co-planned an operation reminiscent of Money Heist while in prison with The Professor.

Meanwhile, the twins muddy the waters further by implicating Vihaan in Nithya’s death, complicating the case. AK makes a shocking discovery: Nithya faked her death and is actually Jammy’s girlfriend, who had been part of the plan by pretending to love Vihaan. AK corners Jammy and Nithya and holds them hostage. Johnny schemes to set up gangsters to kill Ramya and Vihaan, while Priya, AK’s ex-girlfriend-turned-aide, saves Ramya, and Tyson, Jaeger, and one of the Mumbai prisoners help rescue Vihaan.

Johnny, Jammy, and Nithya escape, but the twins decide to kill Nithya to strengthen the case against Vihaan. They shoot Nithya, and Ramya is injured during the pursuit. AK visits Ramya in the hospital, where she apologizes for misjudging him and for contributing to Vihaan’s imprisonment, and asks AK to finish the twins. AK confronts Johnny and Jammy, overpowering them; Johnny and Jammy are sentenced to prison, Vihaan is acquitted, and the family shares a tender reunion.

Six months later, as Johnny and Jammy are transported, they stage a jailbreak. AK arrives with a gun and ends their lives, bringing a bitter but decisive end to the saga.
