Kavya yearns for a partner who embraces risk and adventure, setting up a domestic premise that quietly masks a much darker current. Gaurav’s attempt to ask Kavya out and his introductions to her parents pull him into ordinary pressures—work, love, and social expectations—while a looming assignment from his boss hints at a more shadowy fate. Rishi and his team attempt to pull intelligence from the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok, a mission that spirals after a chaotic escape leads to the unintentional killing of an innocent police officer by a teammate named Yakob. The fallout ignites Rishi’s contemplation of retirement from the espionage grind, but Vijay insists on one last mission: to spy on Mishra, the Indian Defense Secretary, and extract data that could shift the balance of power. Rishi’s skills pull through as he manages to save key information to a hard drive and, in a tense twist, ends up intersecting with Gaurav, a Miami-based database manager at Norcorp. The pursuit of the data—and who should control it—drives a high-stakes chase across continents and corporate walls.

As the threads converge, Gaurav’s life collides with Rishi’s past. Yakub kills Gaurav to erase an incriminating trail, prompting Vijay to order Yakub to finish Rishi. Rishi survives Yakub’s attack, absorbs the danger, and makes a bold choice: he assumes Gaurav’s identity and relocates to Miami to begin anew, revealing to the world that his own past has not vanished but merely taken on a new face. The double life creates a fragile balance between a peaceful city existence and a hidden history that refuses to stay buried.

By 2017, the past returns with a violent insistence. An accidental viral recording brings Rishi back into the fold of Unit X, triggering a cascade of confrontations. He is pursued by Koko, an associate of a local contact, Jignesh, forcing him to abduct and conceal the adversary in his car. A well-meaning but tragic intervention by his friend Dixit leads to Koko’s death in the struggle, complicating the chase and raising the stakes. Yakub and the other Unit X agents close in, and Rishi must confront the truth he tried to leave behind: the hard drive’s data, which he had kept secure, holds damning evidence of Norcorp’s illicit financial dealings with Indian politicians and of Vijay’s unlawful activities. The realization that the data is at the heart of a larger conspiracy pushes Rishi into a perilous showdown.

In a tense confrontation, Rishi extracts the truth from Yakub, recounts the destruction of vital electronic evidence—an act Yakub himself had committed in a previous bid to kill Rishi—and urges Kavya to stay close as they navigate a deadly pursuit. Rishi and Kavya escape and fight to recover the data, aided by Kavya’s loyalty and improvisation. The pursuit culminates in a brutal clash where Rishi eliminates most of Yakub’s henchmen and spares Yakub and two others, ordering them to leave his house. A side collision, orchestrated by Dixit, brings the police to the scene and exposes more danger as Yakub’s people are overwhelmed. The confrontation extends to Vijay Saxena, who arrives only to perish in a bomb blast that halts the immediate threat and reverberates through the system.

With the data now in the hands of the national authorities, Rishi’s world shifts again. The NSC receives the crucial information and Unit X is neutralised, but not before a final act of reinvention: Rishi and Kavya depart Miami under new identities—Hemanth Khanna and Pooja Khanna—seeking a life beyond the shadows that once defined them. The film closes with a mid-credits moment: Dixit is seen purchasing machine guns at a Miami gun store, slipping into a hoodie, a quiet reminder that the echoes of espionage can linger long after the curtain falls.
