Gemeni Venkatesh and Ladda Kalabhavan Mani are two contemporary gangsters holding sway in the busy streets of Vijayawada. Their world of turf wars and loyalty is upended when a friend of Gemeni is murdered by a member of Ladda’s circle. In a brutal response, Gemeni and his gang track down the killer and kill him, a ruthless move that marks the beginning of a fierce, personal rivalry between the two men.

Gemeni’s life takes a surprising turn when he meets Manisha Natwarlal Namitha. To win her heart, he throws himself into an evening college course as her classmate, and gradually, she falls for him as well. The romance brings a fragile hope that the two could redefine their lives beyond crime, even as their violent world keeps tugging them back.

Tensions flare once more over market control, and Gemeni employs a series of clever schemes to outwit Ladda, leaving his rival stunned and furious. The city’s balance shifts as Narendranath Chowdary Murali steps in as the new Police Commissioner, mounting an iron-fisted response to the rivalry. He arrests both men and places them in a private cell, hoping the brawl will either kill them or force them to reform. Yet Gemeni’s persistence pays off: he persuades Ladda to plead for a chance to live a normal life, and to everyone’s surprise, Narendranath offers them an uneasy, conditional respite.

If Gemeni has changed, Ladda has not. While Gemeni begins rebuilding his life and works toward a reunion with Manisha, Ladda remains a disruptive force, pressing Gemeni into old habits and schemes. Gemeni, choosing honesty, informs Narendranath of Ladda’s ongoing activities, and the harsh consequences follow—Ladda ends up back in jail. The romance with Manisha continues to evolve, and Gemeni works to earn her forgiveness as time passes.

Months drift by, and Narendranath moves on to new responsibilities as transport DG of Andhra Pradesh. A new Commissioner, Kumaraswamy Kota Srinivasa Rao, arrives with a corrupt edge and abruptly releases Ladda from confinement. The two turn up the pressure on Gemeni, trying to pull him back into crime, promising him power and profit if he reopens old channels. Gemeni resists, but the force of past loyalties and pressures from Kumaraswamy begin to wear him down, pushing him toward a difficult choice between danger and a chance at a peaceful life.

As the struggle intensifies, a brutal act tears through Gemeni’s closest circle: his trusted right-hand man is killed in a bid to force him back into the old game. In the climactic twist, Gemeni uses a cunning trick to turn Kumaraswamy against Ladda, setting a trap that ultimately removes Ladda from the equation. With Kumaraswamy reassigned to transport DGP and Viswanath taking over as the new Commissioner, the city’s power dynamics shift once again. In the end, Gemeni chooses to walk away from the underworld and begins a fresh life with Manisha, trusting that their future can be built on something real and lasting.
