Remu, raised in modest conditions, drops out of school as a teenager and turns to small‑time crime, steering his family toward the familiar path of jail, alcoholism and violent death. Discovering rock music, he teaches himself drums and plays with several groups. A first stint in jail halts his progress, but upon release he founds his own band, Hurriganes.
