What Is Fright About?
The premise of Fright without spoilers.
In 1937, young Emily is confined to a sprawling gothic mansion, a prison created by her agoraphobia and the controlling nature of her mother. On the verge of madness, she is haunted by unseen malevolent forces. Her only hope lies in the possibility of her missing father’s return, but she is increasingly tormented by disturbing visions of a sinister black hand linked to her earliest memories. The film evokes the unsettling atmosphere of classic 1950s horror, reminiscent of works like "The Haunting" and "The Innocents."
