Widowed Mara, Belén Cuesta, travels with her daughter Lide, Candela Martínez, her sister Elena, Diana Gómez, her brother-in-law Luis, Joaquín Furriel, and her nephew to a family summer house tucked away in a remote forest. The atmosphere starts off calm, but the quiet day soon hints at danger as nature begins to close in around them.

Lide, the daughter, goes missing in the trees as a massive wildfire suddenly roars to life nearby, turning a simple family gathering into a life-threatening crisis. The group scrambles to evacuate, yet the blaze moves with terrifying speed, forcing them to rethink every plan and decision.

A rescue team is on standby, but the dangerous conditions compel them to cancel the search at first, leaving Elena and Luis to search for their child on their own. In the tense hours that follow, Elena and Luis encounter Santiago, Enric Auquer, who offers to help by driving them through the smoke-filled forest in his car.

The situation grows murkier as Elena makes a troubling discovery: a Lide bracelet found in Santiago’s car leads her to accuse him of taking their daughter. The accusation sends shockwaves through the family, and Mara joins Elena and Luis in holding Santiago hostage while they try to piece together what happened.

Tensions flare as fear, anger, and desperation surge through the group. A crashing fear of losing Lide fuels aggression, and Luis, in a moment of rage, assaults Santiago, further fraying the fragile trust among them.

Against the backdrop of crackling embers and collapsing trees, Elena’s relentless search pays off. Meanwhile, Santiago slips away and is left on the road, seeking help. Elena and Luis pass him on their way to the hospital, and a Good Samaritan offers him a ride, sparing him from the dangerous journey through the flames and smoke.

As the wildfire continues to spread, roads become blocked and evacuations grow perilous. The family’s ability to stay together is tested by fear, guilt, and the ache of uncertainty, while the forest threatens to swallow everything in its path.
