Fantasia 2014

A family faces hardship as the father battles leukemia and the mother struggles with unemployment and debt. The son, Lin, experiences isolation at school due to his father's illness and begins skipping classes. He discovers a derelict ship on the riverside and befriends a girl connected to its unusual inhabitants. Lin becomes involved in their activities, leading to concern from his teacher, who visits his mother. Haunted by his circumstances, Lin has a disturbing fantasy and eventually confronts his father. The ship mysteriously vanishes, leaving Lin to grapple with his family's struggles and his own internal turmoil.
