According to the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival website, when Suziey suffers the inexplicable loss of her cherished dog, a pervasive anxiety begins to envelop her, prompting her to contemplate escaping the confines of Los Angeles. However, during the night of her farewell party, she discovers that departing may be far more challenging than she anticipated.

The real-life Suziey, portrayed convincingly as a barista from Silverlake, reflects both her real identity and her talents as an actress. Interestingly, the rambling hillside residence featured in the film was actually the rental home of director Dallas Hallam during the production.
