What Is Einarrative About?
The premise of Einarrative without spoilers.
Einarrative follows conceptual poet Einārs Pelšs as he releases an “eighth” poetry book that is actually a collection of his works, yet the purchaser receives a plain brick. He re‑translates Russian Golden Age poets, publishing them under his name and blurring authorship. The film mixes shifting visual styles with Pelšs’s evolving poetry and personality, turning his life into an audiovisual anthology that asks whether a self‑reflective, art‑satirising poet is unique or a hallmark of contemporary literature.
