Hildur, Halla Vilhjálmsdóttir, a good-for-nothing beauty who works alongside the criminal car dealer Jolli, Davíð Þór Jónsson, is forced to look for work after his arrest. She lands a job at Astrópía, a shop that mixes role-playing games, DVDs, and comics, and quickly discovers that the place is a sanctuary for people who live in their own little worlds. The boss, once publicly mocked after a viral online moment from a role-playing performance, takes pity on her and gives her a chance to prove herself. To sharpen her skills, he invites her to participate in his own role-playing group, pulling her into adventures that feel more vivid than anything she’s known before.
