Yellow Guy, Red Guy and Duck are waiting for their favorite show to come on TV. Duck complains that even though there are only five minutes left, it’s not enough time. Suddenly, the clock on the wall suggests that there is always time for something, then detaches himself from the wall and begins singing a song about how time works. While singing, the clock fast-forwards time to 8:45 PM and makes the friends take a bath. Then he takes them on a time-traveling adventure, which begins with them in the Victorian era. The friends find themselves amused by the old-timey environment they’re in before walking into the forest. Yellow Guy takes pleasure in counting the rings inside the core of an old tree, while the clock decides to show them how trees and apples look when they rot. The clock then explains how celestial bodies like the sun and moon can be used to tell time, but he notices that Duck is not paying attention to him and is instead building a tower of cards. Frustrated, the clock knocks down the card tower before taking them all to the future. The friends find themselves amused by the technology of the future. Then the clock starts changing time rapidly, causing fish to appear everywhere. He then takes the friends back to the present, but they have become confused about some aspects of time, including when it started and when it may stop. Duck then tries to explain time in a philosophical sense, but the clock, unamused that someone else is trying to do his job, interrupts him by making an alarm noise and refuses to stop until their ears bleed. He then speeds up time rapidly, causing the friends to rot. Despite their pleas to make him stop causing them to rot, the clock declares that the situation is out of his hands and assures them that they might be okay. It is then revealed that their whole time-traveling journey happened in the show they were watching.
