Dolly Ki Doli 2015

The film centers on a young woman, Dolly, a cunning con artist born into a family of swindlers who weave elaborate schemes to fleece men across different faiths. On the wedding night, she marries these men and walks away with their wealth, leaving behind only rumors of her audacious exploits. Her bold pattern draws widespread media attention and she earns the sensational label looteri dulhan (bride thief), a moniker that sticks as reporters chase every new chapter of her story. Standing in opposition to her is Officer Robin Singh, a determined lawman assigned to put an end to her crime spree.

Her first major mark is Sonu Sherawat, a target she drags into a web of deception, setting in motion a sequence of cons that brings both money and notoriety. As Dolly and her crew outwit wealthy suitors, the spotlight grows brighter, and the risks of exposure loom larger than before.

The thrill of the con leads them to a risky play on an innocent Delhi boy, Manjot. A failed attempt at discretion becomes a paparazzi-fueled scandal when photographs of Dolly surface in the media, forcing the pair to slip into hiding for several months as they lay low from the public eye.

Months pass, and Dolly’s gang targets a new high-profile figure, Prince Aditya Singh, who has just returned from abroad. Their plan is thwarted when Robin and his team close in, and it’s revealed that Dolly and Robin share a past that helps explain why she became a con artist in the first place.

Behind bars for a time, Dolly manages a dramatic escape with Robin’s help, and the two marry. Yet happiness is short-lived as Dolly ultimately leaves him again, regrouping with her old crew to pursue their next victim and continue the cycle of deception.
