Dr. Varun, a strict and pragmatic Sivakarthikeyan who serves as a military doctor in the Indian Army Medical Corps, returns from a mission to find a voicemail from his fiancée, Padmini urging him to cancel their wedding. The tension between duty and personal life weighs on Varun, and Padmini’s family is quick to question his emotional distance. Amid this friction, a troubling development shakes the family: Padmini’s beloved niece, Chinnu, has vanished. The police respond with limited momentum, and Bhagat, a low-ranking officer, is assigned to oversee the family’s communications, adding a layer of frustration to everyone involved.

Frustrated by the police’s slow progress, Varun hatches a controversial plan to force a more vigorous investigation: he decides to kidnap the assistant commissioner’s daughter, betting that the ensuing pressure would yield results. The gambit works in dramatic fashion. The police soon round up nearly every major criminal tied to child kidnapping, and Varun singles out three suspects—Kamala Kannan, Kamesh, and Pratap—for interrogation. He uses threats involving kidneys he has removed to pressure them into talking. Kamala Kannan breaks under the strain, admitting that Chinnu was handed over to a child trafficking network. To deepen the inquiry, Varun enlists Prathap and two gangsters, Mahaali and Killi.

Varun’s lead drives him to the twins, Alvin and Melvin, who stand at the center of a broader trafficking and prostitution operation. A tense confrontation erupts aboard a train, and Varun and the family succeed in separating the twins and abducting Alvin. Desperate to save Alvin, Melvin agrees to release one girl from his captive cohort, though Varun insists on freeing all the girls despite Padmini’s objections. Melvin tries to resist, but reveals that the girls are being taken toward Goa. The party—Varun, Pratap, Mahaali, Killi, and Padmini’s family—pursues to Goa, where they uncover the mastermind behind the recent kidnappings: Terry, a hotel owner who uses his high-end resort as a front for a vast trafficking network.

In Goa, Varun devises a bold ruse: Mahaali and Killi pretend to kidnap Padmini, while Padmini’s family urges Terry to locate her. Terry traces the supposed kidnapping to Varun, who has been masquerading as a child trafficker operating out of an ice-cream parlour. Varun then presses Terry for a girl as compensation for saving Padmini and has his ally, Col. James Anderson, and his commandos ready to move against Terry. Terry leads them to his island base, a remote locale that hides a much darker truth: his victims are predominantly underage girls. Realizing that a direct assault could endanger the captives, Varun calls off the immediate operation and switches to a more nuanced plan.

With a safeguard in mind, Varun negotiates a deal involving Terry and Terry’s father to ship a cargo of 40 girls to Don Pablo El-Fino, a Brazilian trafficking boss who, in a twist, is revealed to be Varun’s father in disguise. Meanwhile, Terry stages a meeting with his associates to discuss the upcoming deal; Melvin is present and Varun subtly instructs Melvin to kill Terry, only to change course at the last moment to gain Terry’s trust. Terry responds by interrogating Melvin, learning about Alvin’s abduction and realizing that Melvin’s actions were driven by desperation. Melvin’s death seals a grim confirmation of the danger.

As Varun sifts through family profiles of the latest kidnapping victims, Terry uncovers Padmini’s family and pieces together Varun’s broader plan. On Terry’s island, Terry captures Varun and the family, intending to execute them. But Alvin returns, seeking revenge for Melvin’s death, and reveals that he had abducted Terry’s father. The twist shifts again: Alvin agrees to spare Varun and the others if they permit everyone to leave, but, after they depart, Alvin kills Terry’s father, and Terry retaliates by killing Alvin. In a separate moment of peril, Varun realizes he has left a girl behind and returns to the island alone.

Terry captures Varun once more and plans to murder the lone girl in front of him, but Bhagat and Col. James Anderson infiltrate the base with James’s team to disrupt the operation. Varun safely escorts the girl to safety as James’s team eliminates Terry and his henchmen. In the aftermath, peace returns, and a reconciled future beckons: three months later, Padmini and Varun marry, celebrated by their family and friends who stand as witnesses to their complicated, relentless pursuit of justice.
