
Set in 1934, the Jon Purdy gangster thriller opens with J. Edgar Hoover’s agents shooting John Dillinger outside Chicago’s Biograph theater, though they kill his brother. Five years later, mob boss Al Capone (F. Murray Abraham) gives the real Dillinger (Martin Sheen) an offer he can’t refuse: steal millions from a vault, or watch his family be slain.
