Deep Throat: When Porn Makes Its Premiere (2022): Cast

Deep Throat, directed by Gerard Damiano, sparked considerable discussion upon its 1972 release. Starring Linda Lovelace, the film explored themes of sex, desire, and female pleasure, while also raising concerns about violence, abuse, and the burgeoning pornography industry. The film, made by a hairdresser with a passion for cinema, unexpectedly transformed the conversation around sexuality and its representation, bringing previously hidden aspects of the industry into the public eye.
