The Black Death spreads across Spain while Camille Saint‑Saëns’s “Danse Macabre” provides the score. In a mix of animation and live‑action, Youth and Love meet one night, dance, embrace and kiss. As night deepens, a skeletal Death with a violin pursues them. They try to escape, but Love collapses, leaving Youth powerless to save her, her fate uncertain.
