Estelle, a psychiatrist specializing in Ericksonian hypnosis, enjoys a tranquil life with her husband and son. Her world is disrupted when Thomas, her former love, is admitted to her hospital after a suicide attempt and subsequently accused of murdering a colleague, Estelle’s professional rival. To clear his name and provide treatment, Estelle flees with Thomas to the Provençal countryside.
