What Is Dad’s Chicken About?
The premise of Dad’s Chicken without spoilers.
Black Jesus is at his breaking point, resenting his dying wife and his transgender son—not for the reasons one expects. His wife refuses his compulsive coupon‑cutting, he is obsessed with guns, his other daughter is a drug addict, and his late father was a notorious pervert. Their autistic prodigy Hobie roams the city, partially blind, clutching a violin and a toilet‑paper tube, when European mentor Ernie offers coaching and a possible teacher. Meanwhile, Mom and the confused Shamu assemble a bomb, planning to strike back at perceived cultural attacks on religion while Black Jesus is away.
