What Is Corbo About?
The premise of Corbo without spoilers.
Montreal in 1966 finds sixteen-year-old Jean Corbo struggling with his identity, caught between his Quebecois mother and his Italian heritage. Drawn to radical politics, he befriends two activists and becomes involved with the Front de Libération du Québec, an underground separatist group. Jean’s path becomes increasingly committed to the cause, leading him toward a predetermined and potentially dangerous future.
