Cinema, Mon Amour 2015
The film follows Viktor Purice, a cinema manager, former projectionist, and devoted film lover, and his two dedicated employees, Cornelia and Lorena. Together, they fight to keep the Dacia Panoramic Cinema in Piatra Neamt, Romania, one of the country's last remaining movie theaters, from disappearing. Viktor, recalling cinema’s “golden age,” strives to recapture that past glory while facing modern challenges. The aging, underfunded theater struggles with disrepair and a lack of support, creating an uphill battle for its preservation.
