In a rundown, crime-ridden corner of Istanbul known as Cholera Street, life threads its way through alleys lined with danger and loyalty. Okan Bayülgen portrays [Salih], a skilled mechanic and the son of a respected barber who tries to keep a fragile peace in a neighborhood that grows louder with each night. A new resident arrives: Müjde Ar as [Tina], a woman who takes up residence and works as a prostitute, bringing a sharp pulse of vulnerability and resilience to the block.

Tensions escalate as a gangster who calls himself Reis seizes control through intimidation, turning the streets into a stage for power plays. Mustafa Uğurlu as Reis moves to dominate Cholera Street, even over a horse stable that leads to tragedy for its former owner. In response, Arap Sado rises to challenge him with a knife duel and, after a hard-fought victory, demands that Reis leave the neighborhood. The balance of fear and respect shifts in an instant, and Salih finds himself drawn into the escalating conflict.

A brutal rumor becomes a drumbeat of terror: a prostitute is murdered, her genitals cut out, and whispers of a serial killer—the so-called “Cholera Monster”—send a chill through Cholera Street. The violence hits close when Sado is targeted by Reis’ men in a drive-by, dying in Salih’s arms after passing along his prized pocket knife as a parting gift. With Sado gone, Reis opens a casino and consolidates his grip, casting a shadow over the community and rallying support away from Salih.

The neighborhood’s morale fractures as Tina and Salih grow closer. Tina asks Salih to trust her enough to quit prostitution, a promise that would strip them of a crucial income but could also seal their bond. Yet the Cholera Monster strikes again, this time killing Puma Zehra, the formidable madam who ran a brothel under Salih’s watch. Aysel Gürel’s Zehra becomes another casualty in the creeping war for control, and Reis uses the hit to present himself as the neighborhood’s protector, twisting public opinion against Salih.

Suspicion gnaws at Salih when Tina returns home late, and she explains that money pressures pushed her back toward work. The couple’s fragile trust wavers as Tina’s explanation barely steadies their rift. Soon the monster returns for another strike, and Salih acts heroically to rescue Tina during a brutal attack, reinforcing the danger that shadows every decision on Cholera Street.

Meanwhile, Tina’s former pimp, Nihat, grapples with the loss of his livelihood and plots with Reis to remove Salih from power. Nihat confronts Tina and wounds her at a wedding, a brutal act that triggers Salih’s pursuit and a fatal confrontation that ends with Nihat’s life cut short and his own cheek slashed. A broken police chief, bought and paid for by Reis, arrests Salih and presses him toward a confession for murder. In a shocking turn, Reis makes a devious bargain: Tina’s body in exchange for Salih’s release. When Salih returns home to find Reis and Tina together, despair overwhelms him and he takes a fatal cut, bleeding to death. In a final act of revenge, Tina drives Reis’s car into a blaze, blowing up the vehicle with Reis and herself inside, ending the neighborhood’s brutal scourge in a blaze of vengeance and tragedy.
