Maya, an Indian who has grown up in London, travels to Darjeeling to shoot her first Bengali film. The production starts smoothly, with the hills and a heritage hotel providing a timeless backdrop as the crew settles into life on location. But the mood shifts when one morning Rai, the female lead, is nowhere to be found, leaving everyone puzzled and anxious. Her fiancé and the male lead, Arindam, have no clue about her sudden disappearance, and the whole unit grows increasingly unsettled as days pass.

The shoot teeters on the edge of collapse until Rai decides to return, but the circumstances remain opaque. In the meantime, Rai ends up at a secluded resort tucked away in the jungle, accompanied only by the driver of her car, Jeetu. As the film’s world of camaraderie, secrets, and unspoken tensions unfolds, new friendships blossom while old ties are strained, suggesting that perhaps a long-buried bond from the past could surface and heal in unexpected ways.
