Ranbir Singh Teja leads a comfortable life with his wife Sita, their son Sunder, and his younger brother Shankar, all living under one grand roof in a palatial home. The family enjoys a peaceful routine and a sense of belonging, anchored by Teja’s firm control over the household.

Tragedy arrives when Sita dies suddenly, and Teja eventually remarries. He welcomes his new wife, Sonia, into the home, where she is accompanied by her brother Laxmidas, a schemer with designs on Teja’s property.

From the outset, misunderstandings simmer. Teja grows convinced that his brother and his son are secretly plotting against his new wife, and he pushes both Shankar and Sunder away. Sunder is sent to a harsh boarding school while Shankar is kept at a distance from the house.

Many years pass. Sunder becomes a savvy con man, while Shankar turns into a bold, ruthless black‑market operator. When the two men cross paths, they do so without recognizing each other at first, and a confrontation soon reveals their kinship — uncle and nephew — changing the dynamic of the family.

Realizing they share a common purpose, they decide to expose Sonia and pull Teja out of the fog of affection. Together they work to open Teja’s eyes, hoping to safeguard the family’s future from Sonia’s manipulations and Laxmidas’s scheming.
