Hong Mi-ju, Sung Hyun-ah, is a gifted cello player who quits the instrument after her friend Kim Tae-yeon, Park Da-an, is murdered. Her professor tries to coax her into attending a concert for Tae-yeon’s sister and taking a professional cello post, but Mi-ju declines both. On her way home, Mi-ju hallucinates a student telling her that because of her, her own music is for nothing, and promises revenge. Shaken, Mi-ju drives home and nearly avoids a collision with a truck. At home, she receives a disturbing message on her cell phone.
