Ross, [Jack Cullison], and Ed, [Jonathan Brett], are college friends who fit the stereotype of certified nerds. They make extra cash by doing homework for jocks, but their personal lives are starved for romance. Ross has a girlfriend named Kim, [Julie Barzman], who has kept him sexless for about 3.5 years, a detail that gnaws at both of them and fuels their restlessness. This tension between academic life and a vanished love life drives much of the story’s humor and frustration.

On campus, the two men chase after girls only to be rebuffed again and again. When Ed receives an invitation to a party in the Hollywood Hills, it seems like a dream come true, but the offer comes with a catch: instead of money for the homework, there’s a single delivery to secure entry. Ed tells Ross that it’s time to grow up and step into adult life, reminding him that Kim won’t have sex with him anytime soon. Doug has the strongest avatar in their virtual world and uses it to dominate his friends in minutes. Kwang barely speaks English, and Marcus has a condition that makes it hard for him to talk to girls. The five friends eventually converge at the party, though Doug stays behind, perpetually the outsider and sometimes a thorn in the group’s side. The mix of online bravado and real-life schemes sets the stage for chaos.

In one bedroom, Ed and Ross hide from a partygoer who stumbles in—an intoxicated woman who isn’t wearing underwear and is doing shots of cocaine. The group heads to Comic-Con and convinces Jillian Banes, [Christine Nguyen], a has-been android actress, to join their scheme by having sex with Ed to gain publicity. Ross and the others document and upload the clip as pay-per-view, and the money starts flowing, pushing their earnings toward $400,000.

Kim learns of Ross’s involvement in the sex tapes and confronts him, while Danny praises Jillian’s new network work and urges the group to keep producing content so he can keep earning commissions. The tension between personal loyalties and financial ambition grows, and Danny’s influence swirls around every decision. Meanwhile, Buck Hollister, [Ed Callison], the owner of a licensed porn site, calls Doug and threatens legal action for operating without proper permissions. He offers a stark alternative: a live, all-day sex fest with Ross in exchange for immunity from legal trouble. Ross reluctantly agrees, while Plan A—apologizing to Mellony and getting Danny off their backs—hangs as a fragile backup.

On set, Buck arranges a hot partner for Ross to lose his virginity to, but the scene hits a snag when Ross experiences a moment of reluctance. He finally proclaims his love for Kim live on the internet, a twist that shifts the dynamic of the shoot. Kwang Ho steps in to take over the sexual duties, underscoring how the group’s plan has spiraled beyond their control.
