In 1998, the graduating class of Huntington Hillside High School congregated at the lavish home of a affluent classmate for an unforgettable night full of celebration. Among them was Preston Meyers, a reserved and contemplative soul, who concealed a heartfelt secret: a four-year unreciprocated affection for the intriguing prom queen, Amanda Beckett. Little did they realize that this singular night would spark a cascade of events that would irrevocably reshape their lives.
As the festivities reached their peak, Amanda grappled with the emotional fallout of her recent breakup with the archetypal high school jock, Mike Dexter.
