Caged Men: Tales from Chicago’s SRO Hotels (2017): Cast

This feature-length documentary explores the lives of those residing in and working within Chicago’s last remaining Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotels. Often shrouded in darkness and secrecy, these small spaces are home to vulnerable individuals at the bottom of the city’s housing ladder. The film aims to reveal the unseen stories of residents, clerks, and owners, challenging the common perception of these hotels as places of drug use and prostitution and giving voice to a largely invisible community.
