In 1952 New York, Mickey Jelke inherits a fortune and spends his nights roaming Broadway bars with pimps, prostitutes and other disreputable figures, painting the city red. A corrupt cop, aided by Mickey’s girlfriend Patricia, accuses him of running a prostitution ring, igniting a scandal that topples the high‑society veneer and sparks outrage.
