Moon, a shy teen who can talk to insects, has a crush on Hyland, a boy across the street who cannot tolerate physical contact. She bonds with Coochie, a chatty ladybug, and meets other misfits: telekinetic twins, a high‑jumping teen, a fortune‑teller, and an x‑ray‑vision boy. Their leader Auntie, who appears in her twenties but is actually seventy, recruits Moon for her bug‑talk and Hyland for his ability to avoid contact.
