In a captivating prologue set against the backdrop of a lush forest, we meet Lord Fergus and Lady Elinor, who are joyfully celebrating the birthday of their spirited young daughter, Merida. The atmosphere is filled with laughter as Elinor shares playful moments with Merida, but a hint of unease creeps in when Fergus gifts the little girl her very own bow and a set of arrows, igniting a spark of adventure in the young archer. After trying her hand at shooting, one of Merida’s arrows veers off course into the depths of the forest. Curiosity propels her to retrieve the errant arrow, where she encounters a glowing blue will-o’-the-wisp.
