Set inside a colossal cinema called Cineminium, a 100-screen multiplex perched directly above Bugs Bunny’s rabbit hole, the story unfolds with a playful clash between old-school cartoon mischief and modern moviegoing.

When Bugs surfaces within the theater, usher Elmer Fudd tries to eject him for not buying a ticket. Meanwhile, Daffy Duck finds the admission fee steep and uses a library card to slip inside, only to stumble into Elmer and Bugs. To divert attention from his own entry, the duck sides with Elmer against Bugs.

Following a wild chase through the maze-like aisles and screens, Bugs manages to trap his opponents inside a projection screen and within the film depicted on it. It clearly adopts the vibe of a slasher film subgenre, and the trapped duo are confronted by a hockey-mask-wearing, chainsaw-wielding maniac. This eerie interloper unsettles Daffy and Elmer as they scramble to escape, amplifying the suspense with cartoonish peril and cheeky bravado.

“It takes a miracle to get into pictures, and now these two jokers wanna get out.”

As the credits begin to roll, the tension shifts back to the theater’s own ending chaos: during the closing title, Daffy and Elmer break through the center in their bid to escape the movie, and Bugs pokes his head out of the hole they created, delivering the final, wink-filled line to the audience:
