Shamyo, Ankush Hazra, leads a carefree, flashy life with his two best friends Bangal and Totlu. His exuberant lifestyle gradually puts him at odds with his family, and his grandfather, Samya’s grandpa, Paran Banerjee, disowns him and forces him to leave home. What follows is a winding path of misadventures as Shamyo tries to navigate life on the road, chasing the next impulsive thrill while facing the consequences of his choices.

On a train journey, a careless moment lands Shamyo in deeper trouble: he takes selfies with an unknown girl, Uma, and sends them to his friends in a WhatsApp group. The pictures quickly circulate to a wider circle when his friends post them on Facebook, leading Uma’s family to misunderstand that Shamyo is the man who eloped with Uma. Uma’s father Gobor Pal threatens Shamyo, insisting that he must return Uma home or face grave consequences.

Driven by a mix of stubborn pride and a desire to fix things, Shamyo and his two companions stumble through a string of misadventures. To defuse the situation, Shamyo even assumes a new identity, posing as “Niloy,” the supposed eloper, in an attempt to bring Uma back to her family. Gobor Pal’s four brothers grow furious at the deception, creating mounting pressure around Shamyo. Yet Uma’s grandmother surprisingly embraces Shamyo, accepting him as a potential grandson-in-law and shifting the balance of opinion within Uma’s clan.

The family saga intensifies as the brothers plot revenge, but a pivotal moment arrives when Shamyo helps his future in-laws win the traditional dhunuchi nach competition, which earns a measure of acceptance for the couple. Despite this progress, Shamyo slips away to return to his grandfather without informing Uma’s family, complicating the fragile peace.

Complications deepen when Uma discovers she was adopted, prompting her to leave home. Shamyo remains resolute and makes a concerted effort to bring her back to her relatives. Seeing the change in Shamyo, his grandfather softens and finally gives his blessing to the wedding, allowing Shamyo and Uma to look toward a future together.
